DONATE NOW
Any help is appreciated
How donations work?
Donor Gives a Contribution
-
Individuals, organizations, or companies donate money, goods, or services.
-
Donations can be one-time or recurring (monthly/annually).
-
Donations can be made via mobile money (e.g. M-Pesa), bank transfers, online platforms, or in-kind (e.g. food, books, clothes).
Foundation Receives and Records the Donation
-
The foundation keeps track of all donations received (including donor details if provided).
-
A thank-you message or receipt may be sent to the donor for transparency and appreciation.
Allocation of Funds or Items
-
Donations are categorized (e.g. for education support, widows, food support).
-
The team reviews needs and allocates resources accordingly.
-
In Viwa Junior Foundation's case, funds may go toward:
-
School fees or supplies for underprivileged students
-
Food or support packages for widows
-
Community outreach or awareness events
-
Use and Impact
-
The foundation uses the donations as planned.
-
Updates (photos, reports, social media posts) are shared with stakeholders to show impact and maintain transparency.
Reporting and Accountability
-
Regular reports are created to show how funds were used.
-
In some cases, audited financial statements are shared with major donors or partners.
